Rhino Ventures LLC is a single family office that was confidentially formed in 2016 via the sale of Curaspan Health to Cardinal Health, approximately a $230m transaction.
We are seeking mid to late-stage business opportunities in the infrastructure, specialty trades, asset-heavy construction and materials sectors as our experience and network lends well to these sectors - we believe strongly in the durability and growth prospects in these businesses over the next 30 years. Our thesis targets “always-needed” infrastructure related services and business in growth markets (mostly Texas).

Acquisition parameters
Size: Between $500k - $3M in EBITDA
Location: If on-site management is needed, will have to be in DFW. We’re open to short flights/drives 1x per week for the right opportunity. My father and I are both private pilots in our spare time and our family has a light business plane so this wouldn’t be too much of a hassle, but it’s not preferred
Valuation: Between 2-5x EBITDA
Business type: Manufacturing, infrastructure, construction and related services, warehousing & distribution
Stage: Mid to late-stage growth, do not want to take start-up risk and are OK paying more for a stabilized cash-cow
Real estate: Real estate interest included is a positive and preferred, we can bring on additional outside real estate investors to cover real estate interest thus increasing potential purchase price for any business with real estate. I am currently in real estate capital markets so understand how to efficiently acquire, finance and close this added asset even in this difficult market.
