My name is Jarod and I'm actively looking to acquire and personally operate a great company through Ranch Road Equity, a Dallas-based search fund backed by 8 institutional investors.
My background is rooted in small business growth and operations. Prior to completing my MBA at UT Austin, I ran a Central Texas roofing market where I rebuilt the sales org from the ground up, grew revenue 20%+ YoY, and launched the company's first recurring B2B channel. Before that, I co-founded one of Houston's top-producing real estate teams, generating $50M+ in sales our first year by personally building out the sales team, designing our training program, and leading all organic growth efforts.
Prior to operating, I worked on lower middle-market acquisitions at Goldman Sachs and later, directly with business owners like you at J.P. Morgan's Private Bank to help protect their personal balance sheets through and after the sale of their companies.
My ideal acquisition is in Electrical Testing & Maintenance, Testing Inspection & Certification, or Residential Property Management. with $3M-$5M in EBITDA.
