Qal-Tek Associates was founded in 1998 as a radiation detection instrument calibration and repair facility for governmental organizations and commercial licensees of radioactive materials
Soon thereafter, Qal-Tek foresaw a need to offer a solution for calibration and repair services for Nuclear Density Gauges and Construction Testing Equipment services. As our presence in the commercial and governmental markets grew, our expertise in the area of Radiation Safety and License Compliance led us to expand our service to include a full spectrum of Radiation Safety Support Services including; Emergency Response Training for Military and State Teams, Commercial Safety Training, Radiation Source Collection & Disposal, Safety Program Assessment and Compliance, Decontamination and Area Surveying as well as Instrument Calibration and Repair for some of the largest response teams in the USA.
By 2004, our name had become known in the Nuclear, Medical, Oil & Gas, Industrial, Military, First Responder and Construction Industries throughout the United States. In 2007, the US NRC (Nuclear Regulatory Commission) granted us a Type A Broadscope License, allowing us to expand our services to assist licensees with their radiation safety needs.
Our continuous dedication to superior customer service and quality and revolutionary advancements to existing service platforms, has created a culture inside our organization which has provided us with opportunities to assist some of the largest corporations in the country as well as many state and federal organizations across the entire United States.
Our services have become the choice for nearly 2000 of the most prominent government and private organizations in the United States. We are one of the largest calibration facilities in the country with approximately 20,000 instruments serviced annually, and one of the few with ISO 17025 Accreditation.
