Pleasant Valley Biofuels, LLC was established in January of 2008 with a fully functional production facility operating in American Falls, Idaho, with 5.2 million gallons per year of capacity. In August of 2013, Pleasant Valley relocated to Washington, Utah. We operate with a vision that is dedicated to the production of clean, renewable, and sustainable alternative fuels from organic oils. Our vision for the future is to provide an increased amount of the highest quality biodiesel.
At Pleasant Valley we focus on using waste vegetable oil (WVO) for the production of biodiesel. The WVO we use has been used for a variety of purposes, mostly in the food industry. We find and obtain waste oils throughout the western United States to be used for biodiesel production. Along with WVO, we can also utilize waste animal fats and oils known as “tallow”. Once tallow is taken and discarded from rendering plants, it can be used to create high quality biodiesel. In addition to waste sources, Pleasant Valley can also use virgin organic oils as a feedstock in biodiesel production. By having the capabilities and network to utilize three different types of feedstock for biodiesel production, we are confident in our abilities to provide an increased amount of the highest quality biodiesel.
