Pine Tree Equity, based in Miami, FL, is a private equity firm focused on the investment in and active expansion of small capitalization companies in partnership with management.
We invest in small capitalization companies with $10.0 to $50.0 million of revenue across a variety of industries, including business, consumer and financial services; consumer products; franchisors and franchisees; and niche manufacturing.
Pine Tree Equity is focused on high quality, profitable family or founder owned companies that can benefit from an active partnership with us, and where management has a meaningful financial participation going forward.
We execute investments structured as buyouts and recapitalizations or growth capital investments. In general, we invest $2.5 million to $7.5 million of equity capital per investment in two to four investments per year, and actively work to expand each investment.
Pine Tree Equity is differentiated in the small capitalization space in that we have committed equity capital, extensive investing experience and an Executive Council comprised of distinguished executives from the business and investment community.
Our combination of financial and strategic resources, as well as operational and transactional experience, allows us to build substantial long-term value in small capitalization companies.
