Pentwater Equity Partners is a private investment entity specializing in the acquisition and management of established, strategically viable companies with annual cashflow between $1M and $3M. Our investment strategy is to take an active management position within the companies we acquire. We seek to identify business owners who care about the continued growth and reputation of their company, but who are ready to retire or take money "off the table". We are experienced operators with a history of working for and with multi generational family enterprises.
Headquartered in Houston, TX, we are searching nationwide for quality acquisition candidates. We welcome engagements from across the US, with a primary focus on the states of Texas, Illinois, and Colorado.
We target firms that meet most, if not all, of these criteria:
1.) Experienced and talented management team that remains post-sale. (Primarily focused on Sales and Ops capabilities) 2.) Recurrent revenues (Non-project based companies) 3.) Minimum Revs: $5,000,000 4.) Min EBITDA: $500,000 5.) Products/services that are defendable in the marketplace 6.) Healthy businesses (no turnarounds/bankruptcies)
In 2009, we sold our largest holding, a $50 million Industrial container manufacturing firm and its subsidiaries. Since 2007, we have also owned or acquired a trucking/distribution company, an environmental remediation firm and a property investment entity.
