Haute Fabrication is seeking a first round of up to $1.07 million dollars from investors for design and initial pre-commercial fabrication of its technology. They are aiming to raise this money within the year. This primary raise will be followed by a second round of $7 million dollars (Venture Round) to manufacture the technology.
The technology harnesses its patent pending 3D Hybrid Direct Laser Sintering HDLS laser sintering and Stereolithography SLA technologies utilizing robotic automation. The HDLS system is 25 times larger build area and 200 times the build weight than the current worlds largest DMLS printer (GE Additive "Atlas"). At scale the system is the only laser sintering system designed for mass manufacturing and very large and very heavy fabrications. Utilizing complete robotic automation Haute Fabrications goal is more cost effect fabrication than conventional subtractive fabrication methods and low cost countries.
