After earning a BS in Chemistry, I began my career in a small manufacturing company, working hands‑on in roles that included cleaning equipment, running a forklift, operating metal finishing systems, and managing industrial wastewater treatment processes. I eventually moved into a technical management role supporting industrial customers with equipment sales and service. Those early years shaped how I think about operations, customer relationships, and the importance of dependable teams. They also gave me a deep appreciation for the essential “dirty jobs” that keep industrial customers running—wastewater treatment, waste management, metal finishing, and other critical services.
After nearly a decade in manufacturing, I transitioned into private equity, earned the CFA designation, and served as the lead analyst on eight transactions totaling $40M of invested capital. I later joined one of our portfolio companies in the cybersecurity sector, where I spent more than ten years in sales and consulting before the company was acquired by Microsoft. I left Microsoft to focus full‑time on acquiring and operating a small business where I can bring together my experience in sales, manufacturing, and finance.
