I am actively looking to buy a business within 30 miles of Minneapolis or Nashville in the auto repair industry. I am looking for a situation where the current owner is ready to step back from day-to-day operations and would like to transition the business to a young, energetic, and hands-on buyer.
For the past few years, I have worked at Carlson Private Capital, the investment group for the Carlson Family that partners with founder- and family-owned industrial and business services companies. I have been involved in buying and helping serval companies including a national commercial facility systems integrator, a global industrial instrumentation manufacturer, and a few small resort-town apparel manufacturers.
Before CPC, I worked at Lazard for two years, where I helped business owners prepare for and go through the sale of their companies, including an engine brake manufacturer, a generator repair business, a specialty staffing agency, and a payroll and insurance provider.
