Trevor Schow & Danny Morgan | Owner-Operator Buyers
We are two IT and finance professionals pursuing a first business acquisition as a full-time career transition — not a flip, not a PE roll-up.
Who we are:
Trevor brings 15+ years in enterprise IT and cloud infrastructure, currently a Senior Customer Solutions Manager at AWS managing a Fortune 500 account. Prior experience spans systems architecture, storage engineering, and operational management at the LDS Church's corporate IT division. He holds an MSIS from the University of Utah and started his career in accounting at a CPA firm — meaning he reads financials, not just technology.
Danny holds an MBA with a finance background, previously a broker at Fidelity, now in cloud/Azure development. He manages a rental portfolio generating ~$50–60K net annually and brings both financial modeling rigor and landlord-level operating discipline.
What we're buying:
Established, cash-flow-positive B2B service businesses where a Baby Boomer owner is retiring without a succession plan. We target businesses with:
• $600K+ annual cash flow / EBITDA
• Recurring or contract-based revenue (non-discretionary preferred)
• A management layer or key operator willing to stay post-sale
• 10+ years in business with institutional client relationships
We are systems thinkers acquiring manual businesses. The previous owner ran it on relationships and tribal knowledge. We systematize it — CRM, automated scheduling, digital reporting, AI-assisted dispatch, financial dashboards. That's not a vision statement; it's what we do at our day jobs at scale for billion-dollar clients. We apply it to a $3M service company.
Industries we know well: Fire & life safety, building automation systems, electrical/controls, facility services, commercial maintenance. Open to any business where the numbers work and the model is recurring and defensible.
Financing: SBA 7(a) via Live Oak Bank (pre-approval in progress). 10% down. Seller financing welcome and preferred — we view it as alignment, not a crutch.
Timeline: Ready to close in 2026. Both principals are committed to leaving corporate employment at close and operating full-time.
