Lowe Capital is a private investment firm focused on investing in and actively managing U.S. based companies in the lower-middle market. We believe in investing in quality, growth-oriented platforms and partnering with strong management teams to create long-term value both organically and through add-on acquisitions.
We tailor deal structuring to the seller’s and business’ needs and commit to an efficient and discrete diligence process to ensure minimal disruptions to daily operations. We look to transition the ownership of the business in a seamless and constructive fashion without disrupting the unique culture and principles that have enabled the company to succeed.

Meet James!
James is the Managing Principal of Lowe Capital Management LLC. He is responsible for all aspects of operations including idea generation, deal sourcing and transaction execution.
Prior to founding Lowe Capital, James was with Baird Capital, a lower middle market private equity group based in Chicago, IL. James focused on U.S. based investment opportunities in the industrial, commercial and consumer sectors.
Prior to joining Baird Capital’s U.S. Private Equity team in 2011, James worked in investment banking with J.P. Morgan Securities focusing on M&A, debt and equity offerings and strategic advisory for industrial, commercial, auto and build products clients. His responsibilities included detailed financial analysis and valuation, deal execution, due diligence and industry and company research.
James earned his BS in Business Management with a concentration in Finance from Case Western University, graduating in 2008.
