I am an individual investor that is seeking to acquire and run a small to medium sized company. My professional background has been in investment banking and treasury/capital markets so I am well acclimated with the financial aspects of a company's structure. When I left banking, I joined a rapidly growing consumer loan originator and was intimately involved in the company's operations, outside of my stated responsibilities associated with treasury and capital markets.
I am seeking an established company in South Carolina, ideally would be located in or around the Greenville / Spartanburg area. Would prefer a non-franchise business, definitely not interested in restaurants. The target enterprise value would be between $1MM and $10MM, depending on expected free cash flow and business fundamentals.
I have sufficient assets to acquire a firm up to $10 million, would not be dependent on financing or leverage.
