About:
Kairos Companies is a firm established in 2018 dedicated to owning and operating family-owned businesses across the United States. At Kairos, we take pride in providing creative solutions for business owners in need of a transition. Beyond the initial transaction, Kairos constantly strives to provide the best home for our businesses. With an indefinite investment horizon, Kairos acts as a family for our companies: nurturing growth, mentoring managers, and maintaining the outstanding legacy of the founding family.
The Greeks had two words for time: “chronos” and “kairos”. Chronos is defined as time as we experience it – moment by moment. Kairos is defined as the opportune moment for action. At Kairos Companiesl, we take care to provide the best solution for any business owner during this opportune moment of transition.
Kairos seeks to add value to companies in the following areas:
· Succession planning
· Financial, strategic, and capital structure
· Technology adoption
· Network of experts and executives
Kairos maintains a strong track record of success in identifying the executives necessary to transition ownership. We take seriously the responsibility of owning and operating a business, but more importantly we value every person who works with us. Kairos believes in compelling equity ownership amongst the senior managers of our companies and feel that only once our employees turn into owners will our interests be truly aligned.
