I was with KPMG for 24 years (10 years as a partner) and took a buyout in 2024. I have initiated an independent search fund, and have been involved in several deal pursuits (both independently and with partners).
Deal Parameters: EBITDA ranging from $750k to $1.5m, Revenue $2m to $6m (or higher with partners). Industry focus has been B2B products and services, residential services, consumer products, and certain e-commerce platforms. Geography is primary New England but we have also evaluated virtual/SaaS models in other parts of the country.
While at KPMG, I specialized in valuation, global business restructuring and M&A, strategic planning, and industry analysis and market research. I have a technology, fintech, taxtech, consumer & retail, and industrial products background and have worked closely with critical client functions, including the CFO’s office, tax department, IT, research and development, supply chain management, and sales and marketing.
Some of my clients have included Cambridge Associates, Circle Finance, Daiwa Securities, Hasbro, Houghton Mifflin, Insulet Corporation, Interactive Data, MA/Com, Massachusetts Cannabis Control Commission, Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Perkin Elmer, Philips Healthcare, Samsonite, Sharp Electronics, Siemens, Staples, TripAdvisor, and CVS.
I also serve as an advisor to several early-stage companies in the AI audit, AI tax, agetech, payments, and real estate sectors.
As an active member of the Boston business community, I have extensive nonprofit board experience. I served on the board of the Commonwealth Corporation, the board and audit committee of Riverside Community Care, and the Boston board and national finance committee of Room to Grow. I co-chaired the Alzheimer’s Association’s Hope on the Harbor Gala in 2023 and 2024, and I was recently appointed Co-chair of the board of directors of the Alzheimer’s Association of New England. I am also a member of the Massachusetts Technology Collaborative, the Fintech Sandbox, MassChallenge, and the Boston Chamber of Commerce.
