The concept behind the Hydrobloc product was initiated over 20 years ago well before in plant production began in 1994 at the Grand-Mère facility in Québec Canada.
The name Hydrobloc comes from the fact that the material is permeable meaning that water can passe through the product (Hydro) and the use of concrete & stone to make it in a block shapes (bloc).
Since then the product evolved from a permeable concrete tile to a complete line of permeable hardscape & landscape products and accessories. We can say that the concept of having the permeable characteristic was well ahead of its time and that Hydrobloc is a leader and a trailblazer for concrete permeable concrete products. With the ecological trend and awareness, our line of products are well suited to meet many new requirements for water drainage and water recuperation thus the need for continuous research and development, innovation and finding new applications. One of our focus is our committed to bringing new products and solutions for a better environment.
Since 2010 we are located in a brand new facility in Bécancour, Québec Canada. The need for upgraded installations and more production capabilities and capacities led us to moving to Bécancour.
