HomeRun Electronics, Inc. was formed in October 2000 by people passionate about technology and how it can enhance our lives through connectivity, entertainment, security and convenience. Our goal is to offer a distinctively personalized technology experience to our production and custom homebuilders and their homebuyers. We are well positioned in Colorado with three design centers along the Front Range, along with two separate warehouse locations. We deliver technology in nearly 3,500 new homes per year in this market. We also perform electrical service in the service area from Colorado Springs to Douglas County. We recently opened an office in Mesa, AZ that will provide home technology services and products only.
Calendar year 2017 revenue exceeded $9.8 million and for the five months ended May 2018 exceeded $5.1 million. We have strong relationships with our homebuilders and supplier partners.
We believe a number of elements set us apart from our competition including three unique and proprietary sales platforms that cater to the different homebuilder profiles and their homebuyers, a proprietary database that tracks sell through rates with various filters and provides feedback data to the homebuilders, and a continuum care platform that helps transition the homebuyer from the construction process to the move-in and settle-in phases. When done correctly, we have the ability to generate incremental revenue while elevating the homebuyer-now-homeowner experience.
