GLAVEL (www.glavel.com) uses renewable energy to recycle waste glass into a low-embodied-carbon, sub-slab insulation material and high-grade aggregate. Foam glass gravel is a trusted product which has been manufactured and used in Europe for over 20 years. Year to date we have delivered $601,000 in orders with imported product and expect to ship an additional $900,000 through the end of 2020. With the launch of our website and the formalization of our sales and marketing distribution network we are poised to convert $12,500,000 in existing sales pipeline into purchase orders in the first two quarters of 2021.
We plan to fill orders from our own production facility in the Spring 2021. GLAVEL’s initial go to market strategy is an alternative to sub-slab rigid foam insulation and green roof applications. We are currently seeking to raise $1.75M in convertible debt to be used to secure equipment financing and to support our sales and marketing efforts in advance of the commissioning of our plant.
