Our principal spent nearly two decades managing an institutional long/short equity fund, which means we evaluate businesses rigorously, move decisively, and close what we say we'll close. We've underwritten hundreds of business models and know how to assess one quickly and fairly, without months of unnecessary process.
We're looking for well-run businesses with a defensible niche and an owner who has built something worth preserving. Gittemeier Ventures is not a roll-up platform, a PE-backed acquirer, or a financial buyer with a three-year hold period. We are permanent capital.
