Galena Partners is a private investment firm providing capital and operational support to rapidly-growing outdoor and active lifestyle companies with ambitious teams and category leading products or services. The firm was founded by Mike McClure, a 15+ year PE veteran, and Blair Clark, a 35+ year outdoor industry operator.
Mike was most recently a Partner and Investment Committee Member at Sageview Capital, a multi-billion dollar growth equity firm with offices in Palo Alto, CA and Greenwich, CT. During his time at Sageview, Mike served on the Board of Directors of 7 companies ranging in size from $5m of revenue to $250m of revenue, and he was responsible for investing over $300m of equity capital. Blair was most recently President of Canyon Bicycles, where he led the US business from its founding to over $130m of revenue. Prior to Canyon, Blair was President of GU Energy, VP of Sales & Marketing at SMITH Optics, President of Giro/Bell, and GM at Specialized Bicycles.
