Subsidiary George Third & Son makes structural and architectural products, including staircases, ornamental iron, and industrial tanks. Other units make air-cleaning and materials handling equipment, oil and gas equipment, and large telescopes. Finally, all that steel has to go up safely: Empire Industries provides construction, site erection, steel shoring, and emergency repair services.
