Eden Arc Capital Advisors (EACA) is a boutique M&A and capital raising firm based in New York City. It's primary focus is the middle market. Its founder Jay Lathen has over 25 years of investment banking and investment management experience. Prior to launching EACA, Mr. Lathen founded a specialist investment firm, Eden Arc Capital Management (EACM), to capitalize on a niche corporate credit strategy he identified in early 2009. After proving up the strategy with his own capital, he successfully scaled the strategy into a hedge fund. Prior to founding EACM, Mr. Lathen spent 16 years as an investment banker, most of that time with Citigroup (Managing Director and Co-head of energy M&A) and Lehman Brothers (Managing Director of Natural Resources M&A). Mr. Lathen began his career as an associate at Weisser Johnson & Company, a boutique advisory and capital raising firm in Houston, Texas. Mr. Lathen received his MBA (with Distinction) from the University of Michigan in 1993 and received his BA (Economics) from Rice University in 1989.
Over the course of his career, Mr. Lathen has completed over 60 M&A and financing transactions for his clients with an aggregate value exceeding $90 billion.
