Diesel TEK, Inc., is an environmental company dedicated to improving air quality and other enhancements of the environment by providing advanced technology products to the heavy-duty transportation industry that improve the efficiencies of diesel engines. Diesel TEK provides the diesel industry with cost savings and operating efficiencies through improved fuel economy and reduced maintenance expense. Our products have demonstrated increased fuel mileage, can reduce engine wear and reduce diesel emissions, including black smoke, thereby contributing to a cleaner environment.
There are over 7 million large diesels in the United States. Our initial target market area is the over 3 million diesel trucks & busses. The EPA is demanding reduction of emissions in diesels. To do this they enforce emissions devices that reduce engine output, reduce performance, reduce mileage, and shorten engine life. Our products reverse this by increasing performance, increasing mileage and extending engine life, thereby helping reduce emissions while giving diesel operators large economic savings. We are a market ready solution that can service the 56,000 trucking companies, 90,000 state & local governments, 15,000 school districts through 3,000 new truck dealerships, 1,000 used truck dealerships, and 6,600 truck service centers throughout the United States.
The Larson Group, with fifteen new & used Peterbilt truck dealerships in the Midwest, has agreed to be our National Distributor. They will sell the service at their dealerships and distribute our products and consumables into the fleets that they service. Inland Kenworth, with twenty-five, truck and farm equipment dealers in the Southwest and Pacific Coast, will also act as a service provider and distributor. Diesel TEK will take 3 months to provide training to the dealerships, including how to operate the machines and how to sell for their sales and parts operations. More dealerships are being considered on the East Coast and in the South. This strategy allows us to enter the market through experts and opinion leaders in the trucking community. We simplify our operations by using their real estate, sales force and existing customer base, not to mention the endorsement from the market positioning.
Our seasoned management team has completed the field testing, in laboratory testing, market research, marketing research and ALL of the necessary ground work on our campaign. We have fully developed the following product line:
Engine cleaning/flushing machines, a host of fuel additives that work with or without the cleaning equipment, an automated fuel additive dispenser, a transmission service devise for use in municipalities, a coolant service device for use in all applications, a brake service unit, power steering service unit, differential service unit, and two additional products that are under development are an air filter product that will reduce millions of air filters from entering the landfill on a monthly basis and a catalytic device that once approved by the EPA and CARB will make all other diesel exhaust devices obsolete.
Our team has excelled at meeting all of our targeted goals, budget goals and have produced a series of innovative solutions that cater to the economic trends that our country is met with today. Since 2008, new trucks sales have steeply declined; the fleets are keeping equipment longer and need to maintain this equipment more efficiently and more effectively. Through our efforts, we have produced a line of products to meet the economic demands today and well into the future of the heavy duty transportation industry.
