Coastal Petroleum Corporation, and its subsidiary, Downhole Energy, LLC, is an independent oil and gas operator, whose principals have a combined experience of 100 plus years in the oil and gas industry. Their vast knowledge has come from working in the field, as well as on the financial side of the energy business. Downhole Energy currently offers developmental oil and gas drilling programs in Pennsylvania and Kentucky.
With origins as a Turnkey Drilling Operator, Coastal Petroleum Corporation began operations in 1967, with company founders eventually having drilled over 1,500 shallow wells in Ohio and Pennsylvania. With the merger of Downhole Energy, LLC, Coastal acquired further expertise in horizontal drilling within the Mid- Continent region. In the past few years, Coastal, and Downhole Energy have focused their energies in the area of oil’s own origins, in NW PA, but also adding additional unconventional drilling acreage in KY.
