I am an independent sponsor planning to acquire and operate a company using a mix of loans, personal capital, and a preferred equity raise.
I have six years of M&A experience through Investment Banking and Private Equity, most recently as a Senior Associate at Gauge Capital. I led M&A transactions and provided operational support across the healthcare and business services industries for our $2.5B AUM fund. On the sell-side, I worked at Cowen Partners providing M&A advisory services in the consumer industry, with a specialization in pet products and services.
I left Gauge in 2021 to pursue my own tech startup, through which I've gained three years of experience as an operating executive. We have raised $15M in venture funding to build a number of consumer tech products including a social video platform (www.stacked.com).
I believe my unique mix of M&A and operating experience, along with implementing (or building) cutting edge tech products, will allow me to successfully acquire and produce outsize growth within a small business.
The core thesis at Bretmoor Capital is to acquire a strong, established platform business and grow it by introducing technology to a traditionally low-tech industry. We are experts in Cash Flow and Working Capital management, unit economics, and deal sourcing, and will look to grow market share aggressively through add-on acquistions from there.
