Company Overview Bakken Three Forks Black Ridge Oil Gas controls appoximately 20,000 net acres in the Bakken and Three Forks play in western North Dakota. The US Geological Survey assessment estimated that there are between 3.0 and 4.3 billion barrels of recoverable oil in the Bakken Formation. A recent study by the North Dakota Geological Survey and Department of Mineral Resources stated that the Three Forks formation may yield an additional 2 billion barrels of recoverable oil. Together with the continued advances in horizontal drilling technology, the oil and gas play in North Dakota has the potential to be both high-yield and sustainable. Williston Basin Wells Black Ridge Oil Gas is one of the premier non-operating participants in the Bakken and Three Forks play. Black Ridge participates in over 35 Bakken or Three Forks wells in North Dakota since 2010 and continues to acquire acreage in the Williston Basin's Bakken and Three Forks trends. Opportunistic Acreage Acquisition Combining experienced management, disciplined operation, low overhead and an aggressive acreage acquisition strategy, Black Ridge is poised to take full advantage of opportunities throughout this resource play.
