We offer a DNA-sequencing based soil testing service to identify the microbiome composition of vineyards. This information is immediately useful in the sector as we provide recommendations and insights on improving quality and quantity of grape vines and wine. We are growing the world’s largest database of soil microbiome composition, and mining these data for important insights into the role of specific microbial species that could be harnessed as fertilizers, biocontrol agents and other important industrial products. Our big data/AI approach to novel product identification is cost efficient, and our laboratory operations are conducted in a wholly-owned subsidiary in Spain further reducing burn. After incubating in the Illumina Accelerator program and raising a $2.2M seed round, we have built a team of 20 and established commercial operations. AgFunder recently named us one of the top 5 pre-series A AgTech companies in the US.
