Bayshore is a Canadian Public Company with its stock trading in Toronto Venture Exchange (Symbol: BSH). Bayshore has a mandate and pending licence to exploit a proprietary catalyst-based bio/bitumen/heavy crude upgrading technology globally. The process uses a proprietary catalyst to break hydrocarbons and only produce middle distillates/diesel fuel. Other output from the process is a porous pet coke/carbon and methane. The methane production makes the pyrolysis process self-sustaining. The process is operated at less than half traditional upgrader/refinery temperatures, and hence the name "Cold Catalytic Cracking", or CCC. CCC does not require pressure or vacuum, hydrogen, or other additives. Laboratory tests on crude and bio feedstock from all over the world have been conducted and produced excellent diesel output yields. The Beijing partner has built a pilot plant and run the same feed stocks through it with consistent results, which means that the process can proceed to commercialization.
