Upwell invests in, acquires, and grows innovative companies. Upwell's Managing Partner, Tamin Pechet, brings a track record as an investor and operator. He serves on the Board of Directors or Advisors to four private-equity backed companies, including Banyan Water (www.banyanwater.com), which he founded, and serves as Chairman of Imagine H2O (www.imagineh2o.org), the leading global water business accelerator. Mr. Pechet has worked as a venture capitalist at Catamount Ventures, and a principal investor at Goldman Sachs, where he co-founded an energy subsidiary and helped launch Goldman Sachs Specialty Lending Group. Mr. Pechet co-authored a book on water technology, and holds degrees from Harvard and Harvard Business School, where his work was featured in two recent case studies on water.
