Aviemore Group LLC’s President, Rob MacDonald, has 25+ years of experience, in the U.S. and Europe, in business sales and corporate acquisitions, ranging from lower middle market to larger to corporate deals over $0.5bn. He has worked on both the buy-side and sell-side and understands what sellers and buyers are looking for.
He is based in Southern California and his main focus is on companies located in Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and Orange County areas. He gained substantial international corporate management experience running large segments of European & US divisions of a large international corporation. He also has direct experience as owner and principal of two privately held U.S. businesses.
Rob holds B.Sc and M.Sc degrees, an MBA from a top business school, and is a member of the M&A Source, CABB and IBBA. He also holds an active Broker’s License.
He started in M&A as a corporate planner, and spent several years as a VP of a large New York based M&A company helping owners sell their companies and buyers such as strategic and equity group buyers acquire companies. He left the NY company in 2019 to focus on developing Aviemore Group LLC
