I have been helping Business Sellers and Business Buyers complete deals since 1994. As a transaction broker, I focus on the Business value using standard formulas using qualified text such as Tom West Books, Business Appraisal Guide published for many years. I also run the current comparable data for current FOR SALE and SOLD businesses to help the Seller and Buyer fell confident as to what the Business Value is. The Bottom line is that the seller ask what they want for the business and the buyer makes their best offer. My job is to help both parties find a common sales price and terms that works for them.
I have helped complete close to if not more then, 500 Business and Real Estate Related deals since 1990, almost 25 years. Prior to entering this field of business, I worked at a major Aerospace Company near Kennedy Space Center for ten years, and other Electronic Firms like Digital Corp, Centronic's after graduating from UEI, United Electronic Institute. After leaving the Army, I used my GI Bill to go to college and have obtained 2 2 year degree from 2 2 year schools. I have spent most of my life continuing my education and keeping informed as to economic, technology and business related matters.
When helping Sellers and Buyers, I find it helpful to remain neutral and focus on the like Businesses that are for sale and those that sold. It is my desire to see businesses sold at a fair market value with some incentive for the buyers to chose the Businesses I have listed. If they are bought and sold at the current market value, the buyer should have little problem in selling the business in the future and again, receive a fair market value price when selling. We are all living in a volatile world with increasing risk for all. Maybe I bring a little sanity into business ownership which is 90 percent of the USA economy.
