4th Street Capital (“4SC”) was created to fill a gap in the market – it is difficult to find competent and patient transition capital for founders looking to retire. Together, we want to help others transition their life’s work in a sustainable way, to a skilled team that will work alongside existing staff to carry on the legacy that’s been created. 4SC is looking for lower middle-market companies that have founder(s) that are planning for retirement. Because owner-managed businesses cannot be transitioned overnight, 4SC is looking to invest and work alongside the founder(s) to transition the business over the course of two to five years.
