Mr. Danford has 30 years experience as a management consultant, investment banker, and business executive including vice president and marketing director for a multi-billion dollar bank. As a senior consultant with a national management consulting firm specializing in independent banks and thrifts, he completed management audits, strategic planning, executive compensation evaluation, interest rate risk management, organization restructuring, capital acquisition, and litigation support.
In his work with development and growth stage companies, Mr. Danford has negotiated many acquisitions, financing and other business agreements. He is skilled at developing and leading presentations to the investment community, boards of directors, C-level management, and regulatory authorities. He has managed projects requiring resolution of complex technical and regulatory issues, arranged export financing, researched international markets, and advised foreign businesses on U. S. regulatory issues.
Mr. Danford earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance at Kansas State University and served in the U.S. Army Military Police Corps 1969-71. He serves as president of a multi-million dollar charitable foundation and is on the investment committee for another $50 million foundation. Mr. Danford is also a director and treasurer for a San Diego beach resort and has served on the boards of companies in the finance, aviation, electronics, and environmental industries.
