White Spruce Capital is an operator led management firm established by its principal to acquire and actively manage a single lower-middle market Southern Ontario-based business. We focus on owners who wish to reduce their day-to-day operating role through full or partial liquidity and on businesses whose growth trajectory can be enhanced with capital and active management expertise. We are flexible in developing deal structure and make investments for full control or a clear path to control. Graham Yin, White Spruce's principal, will assume a senior operational role post-acquisition to drive sustained risk-managed growth and long-term value creation, while enhancing the existing legacy. Our ideal ownership period is measured in decades. Graham has 17 years of professional experience working closely with owners and stakeholders of middle market businesses across North America. Previously he was Vice President, Private Equity at Brookfield Asset Management, and Vice President in the principal investing and investment banking divisions of Lehman Brothers. Graham’s career began as a Chartered Accountant in the restructuring and turnaround practice of PwC. He has launched and led businesses, including Student Sealing Works, a successful home maintenance company in Toronto.
