TNC Energy is a private Oil & Gas Exploration & Production company based in Oklahoma. The company was founded by Tommy Weder, Tommy Weder, Jr., and Mikel Scott, senior executives in the oilfield services industry. The management team at TNC has more than one hundred years of combined experience in the oil and gas industry.
Formed in September, 2012, TNC is a sister company of Edge Services, Inc. based in Woodward, Oklahoma. In 2014 alone, Edge has provided drilling services for such clients as Devon Energy, Sandridge Energy, Mid-States Petroleum, Linn Energy, Continental Resources, and Chesapeake Oil among others. In operation since the 1970s, Edge has Master Service Agreements in place with over 200 Oil and Gas Companies and is known as a low cost, skilled drilling company.
TNC has adopted an aggressive approach to growing the business, combining rapid development, enhancement and expansion of the production of the Bossier Parrish Leases with expansion targeting current leases in other geographic areas which are similarly underdeveloped. Geographically, TNC expects to expand through lease acquisitions in Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Kansas to augment current development/production lease holdings. TNC expects to achieve attractive returns using up to date drilling technology and production enhancement techniques combined with a low cost/low risk strategy.
