This Axial membership application is for William Wyatt, an individual seeking to build out his personal portfolio. Mr. Wyatt is the Founder and CIO of The Donerail Group. Prior to starting Donerail, he was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Starboard Value, a $6 billion activist investment fund, where he also served as the Head of Event Driven investing. Mr. Wyatt joined Starboard in 2015 as a Portfolio Manager and was promoted to Partner at the end of 2016. In Mr. Wyatt’s last year at Starboard (2018), the Firm was honored by Institutional Investor as one of the six best Activist Hedge Fund Managers of the Year, in addition to being nominated as “Event Driven Fund Manager of the Year”, a first for the Firm. Prior to Starboard, Mr. Wyatt worked in various executive roles at Empyrean Capital, a $4 billion hedge fund, and at Magnetar Capital, a $13 billion hedge fund, where he started his investment career in 2010. Mr. Wyatt began his corporate career at Goldman Sachs, where he worked in both the Sales and Trading Division as well as the Investment Banking Division. Since launching Donerail, Mr. Wyatt has advised on over $10 billion of announced and pending mergers within the consumer, media, and industrial sectors. Mr. Wyatt earned a BA with honors from Tulane University, where he was a Georges R. Lurcy Scholar, served as President of the Tulane University Honor Board, and was chosen by school leadership to be the sole Honorary Degree Recipient for the entire university’s graduating class. He and his wife, Alison, have three children, Dagny, Beau and Coco
