Quality In Real Time [QIRT] began in 2006. The company was founded by Laura Page-Greifinger, BSN, MPA who has worked in home care and hospice for over 40 years as nurse, supervisor, clinical consultant, and most recently as CEO of QIRT. As a consultant for 20 years, Ms. Page-Greifinger noted that agencies had a difficult time staffing and retaining quality assurance professionals and that lack of these professionals created issues for agencies. Ms. Page-Greifinger recognized that quality assurance personnel could be brought under one entity to provide these needed services and QIRT was formed.
QIRT's initial service was providing multiple types of quality assurance reviews and coding to the home care and hospice community including OASIS/485 review, Hospice Coding and Eligibility Reviews, QA Reviews and ADR Reviews. In 2008, to diversify offerings to customers, QIRT launched ELITE, its E-learning Interactive Targeted Education which provides online educational modules for home health clinicians, clinical and quality managers, and office staff. In 2014, the company launched clinical and financial consulting divisions to provide guidance to the home care and hospice industries.
QIRT's employees come from 44 states and most work remotely. Chief Clinical Officer, Philip Keating, MPT, who has 15 years of home care experience, leads the team and is dual certified. QIRT currently has 80 FTE’s and 50 PTE’s. The company works 24/7/365 days a year.
Inc. Magazine has nominated Quality In Real Time for Fastest Growing Privately Held Company for two consecutive years. After a rigorous review, QIRT was awarded 661st overall place in 2013 and 766th overall place in 2014. In 2014, QIRT was also named to Inc. Magazine's List of the Top 10 Fastest Growing Women Led Companies in New York City in 2014.
In 2014, QIRT relocated their national headquarters to Floral Park, New York to accommodate its growing New York workforce, nearly doubling its space and providing QIRT with significant room for growth. The company is committed to staying and hiring in Long Island for years to come, and prides itself on hiring in the United States.
