We provide healthcare professional schools, certification boards and provider organizations a highly scalable SaaS patient simulation platform to develop and assess highly leveraged critical thinking and cognitive competencies in students and practitioners. This has a very significant impact on the quality and cost of healthcare, as well as the rate at which new clinicians can be trained. Having started in medical and graduate nursing schools, we are now expanding into large, adjacent market segments in North America, prior to a global expansion.
We build web-based "flight simulators" using virtual patients and a full complement of virtual medical tools and diagnostics to help healthcare professional students and practitioners develop and demonstrate competencies in patient assessment, diagnostic reasoning and treatment planning. Our i-Human simulation platform ships with free crowd-sourced content (developed by educators for use at their own institutions using our authoring tools) as well as premium priced, peer-reviewed content developed by leading medical experts. Our simulation platform and content are sold on a subscription SAAS model that offers high gross margins. This enables us to invest significantly in R&D to maintain our first mover advantage. When integrated into a school's curricula or a provider organization's human capital development and management infrastructure, customer relationships are long lasting. With our low customer acquisition cost, operating margins are projected to be in the 40% range over time.
