I am an operator-led acquirer seeking to acquire and operate a single business in the Southeast U.S. I am the founder of Harlan Operating Partners, based in Atlanta, Georgia.
My background is in multi-site services operations. I served as a Regional Vice President at Oak Street Health — a PE-backed, multi-site platform — where I held full P&L responsibility across multiple states, led turnarounds, launched new markets, and built teams from the ground up. I currently serve as Head of Operations at Accompany Health, where I am the board-facing P&L owner for a multi-market services platform with 200+ employees across three states.
I bring real operating experience. I have scaled revenue, improved unit economics, managed frontline teams, and built the systems that allow multi-site businesses to perform consistently. I intend to be present in the business day-to-day and to steward it for the long term.
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR
I am focused on regulated, asset-based inspection and compliance services tied to physical infrastructure — including energy, utilities, data centers, and industrial assets. I am also open to adjacent asset-based, regulated services businesses with durable demand and strong unit economics.
Target profile:
— EBITDA: $1.0–3.0M, with clean margins of 18%+
— Geography: Southeast U.S., with primary focus on Georgia and the broader Atlanta region
— Revenue: 50%+ recurring or regulation-driven; non-discretionary demand
— Customer concentration: No single customer exceeding 25–30% of revenue
— Transition: Founder committed to a thoughtful handoff; legacy and people matter
