I am Naishadh Sambrani, General Partner at Emerald Water Capital. We are a New York-based entrepreneurial private equity investor focused on founder-owned B2B service businesses built on parts and skilled labor, typically with $15m to $50m of revenue and $3m+ of EBITDA. I was previously an investor at Orion Group / Alpine Investors’ services-focused PE platform, where I helped evaluate, invest in, and grow 40+ lower middle-market B2B service investments.
We bring operating experience and a flexible partnership approach. Our structures are tailored to the business and owner’s goals, including situations where founders want liquidity today, continuity for the people and culture, and continued ownership at the asset level with potential tax advantages.
Our team includes seasoned investors and operators with direct experience scaling service businesses. On the investor side, this includes a senior private equity investor who has raised $500m+ and serves on public and private service company boards. On the operating side, our team includes PE-backed executives who have scaled multi-site service platforms through 3x+ growth, 9+ acquisitions, systems and leadership buildout, 98% employee retention through integration, and a $100m+ strategic exit.
In addition, EWC brings $1bn+ of capital raise experience and 50+ capital relationships across family offices, PE funds, and SBIC funds. On a recent B2B field services platform process, we assembled $20m+ of committed capital in under 60 days and recruited a CEO with 25+ years of services experience from our network.
