I’m Molly McFadden, founding partner of Bold North Capital, a Minnesota-based independent investment firm backed by local family office capital (boldnorthcap.com). We focus on acquiring and operating durable, overlooked businesses in essential industries across the Midwest, with a particular interest in services and software companies generating under $10M of EBITDA.
I have spent my career partnering with bootstrapped, founder-led companies during critical stages of growth. Before launching Bold North, I was an investor at Arthur Ventures in Minneapolis, where I played a pivotal role in growing the firm from $250M to $2B in assets under management. Prior to Arthur Ventures, I was an investment banker at UBS in New York, advising both public and private companies on M&A and capital markets transactions.
Born and raised in St. Paul and now based in Minneapolis, I’m committed to investing in the Midwest. At Bold North, we bring patient, flexible capital and a hands-on approach to building enduring businesses with strong fundamentals and long-term potential.
