I am seeking to acquire and operate a profitable, established small to lower-middle-market business as a long-term owner. My focus is on a single platform investment where I can be actively involved in leadership and operations. I am drawn to businesses with durable demand, defensible local or regional market positions, and meaningful operational complexity. Sectors of interest include industrial and field services, construction and construction-adjacent businesses, transportation and logistics, and specialty manufacturing. I value thoughtful transaction structures, including seller transition support and aligned incentives, and approach acquisitions with a long-term ownership mindset rather than a financial engineering focus.
My experience centers on building teams, improving execution, and professionalizing complex organizations. My career spans growth-stage and scaled companies, including founding and leading AlterG and Treatful, which was acquired by OpenTable. Most recently, I served as COO of a national fintech and bank, with responsibility across operations, product, credit, risk, compliance, and growth. I am a graduate of Occidental College and the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
I live in San Francisco with my wife and two sons and am seeking a business where I can be a committed, hands-on owner and responsible long-term steward.
