Empowered Ventures, a 100% employee-owned holding company based in Carmel, Indiana, has acquired Whitney Brothers, a Keene, New Hampshire manufacturer of high-quality wood furniture and educational products for daycares, preschools, and classrooms.
Under this deal, Whitney Brothers’ employees will join Empowered Ventures’ ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan), making them owners in the broader enterprise.
Whitney will continue operating locally in Keene, with President Mike Jablonski remaining in place, and no immediate staffing changes anticipated.
Empowered Ventures aims to support Whitney’s growth with strategic resources while preserving its legacy in the early-learning furniture and educational products space.
