Acacia Group Facilitates Noverra Group Acquisition of Thorpe Design

On December 31, 2015, Acacia Group closed the sale of Thorpe Design to Noverra Group. Acacia Group, a Los Gatos, CA-based M&A advisory firm providing business services in the areas of consulting, valuation and business sales, represented the Seller in the transaction. The Seller, Thorpe Design, is a full-service fire sprinkler systems contractor for residential and commercial buildings based in Brentwood, CA and serves the state of California. The Buyer, Noverra Active Equity Fund, is a Canadian private equity investment firm whose focus is on acquiring well-performing operating businesses with Enterprise Values up to $20M. This sale was a direct result of connections made using Axial, as all three firms are active Axial Members.
